Our local church gatherings in Kansas City represent the local expression of the universal church.  We fellowship with many local churches meeting in other cities worldwide. The meetings of the church in Kansas City are a part of the practical expression of the church on the whole earth. Thus, we fellowship as much as possible with other local churches.

We also embrace the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee that is solidly based upon God's Word in the Bible and perfects the members of His Body until we will "all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full grown Man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:12-13).

The Bible is Our Only Standard

"We are not afraid to preach the pure word of the Bible, even if men oppose: but if it is not the word of the Bible, we could never agree even if everyone approved of it." Watchman Nee, The Christian, Issue No. 1, 1925.

"Of which I became a minister according to the stewardship of God, ... to complete the word of God" (Colossians 1:25).

The word of God is the divine revelation, which had not been completed before the New Testament was written. In the New Testament the apostles, especially the apostle Paul, completed the word of God in regard to the mystery of God, which is Christ, and the mystery of Christ, which is the church, to give us a full revelation of God's economy. Standing on the shoulders of centuries of bible teachers before them, Watchman Nee and Witness Lee have been ministering for almost a century to fully open up to God's children all that the apostles completed.

Meeting as the church in Kansas City we endeavor not only to teach, but even more, to fulfill in practice the great commission given to the church in this age and to be faithful to take it to that part of the world that we live in, the greater Kansas City area.
